Overview
StorePush ("we", "our", "us") operates the StorePush mobile application (App Clip and full app) and the storepush.io website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.
Information We Collect
For Merchant Users (Dashboard):- Email address and password (for account authentication)
- Store name and platform information
- App Clip card configuration (title, subtitle, images)
- Push notification settings and preferences
For End Users (App Clip):- Anonymous device identifier (stored in device Keychain)
- Push notification token (if notification permission is granted)
- Pages visited within the merchant's storefront (URL paths only)
- Session duration and funnel stage (browse, cart, checkout, purchase)
- Traffic source (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, QR code, direct)
We do NOT collect:- Personal names or physical addresses of end users
- Payment information or credit card details
- Precise location data
- Contacts, photos, or other device content
- Cross-app tracking identifiers (IDFA)
How We Use Information
- To provide the App Clip storefront experience to end users
- To send ephemeral push notifications for cart recovery (within Apple's 8-hour window)
- To display analytics and performance metrics to merchant users
- To attribute recovered revenue to push notifications
- To improve our services and fix technical issues
Push Notifications
App Clips receive ephemeral notification permission from iOS, which allows us to send push notifications for up to 8 hours after the App Clip is launched. We use this permission to send cart abandonment reminders. Users can disable notifications at any time through iOS Settings. We do not send marketing or promotional notifications beyond cart recovery.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- With merchant users — aggregated, anonymous session analytics for their store
- With Firebase (Google) — for authentication, database, and push notification delivery
- As required by law or to protect our rights
Data Storage and Security
Data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication) with encryption at rest and in transit. Push notification tokens are stored securely and associated with anonymous session data only. We retain session data for analytics purposes and delete it upon merchant request.
Data Retention
- Merchant account data — retained until account deletion
- End user session data — retained for analytics, anonymized after 12 months
- Push notification tokens — automatically expire after 8 hours (ephemeral) or when the App Clip is removed by iOS
Your Rights
Merchant users can delete their account and all associated data by contacting us. End user data is anonymous and cannot be linked to an individual. If you believe we hold data about you and wish to exercise your rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws, please contact us.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify merchant users of material changes via email or dashboard notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
